Michigan Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Byeong-ho) participated in the ‘8 International Environmental Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at the 9st exhibition hall in BEXCO, Busan for three days from August 1 (Wed) to September 3 (Fri).
Michigan Technology is a company that recycles water and treats non-degradable sewage and wastewater. DAF (dissolved air flotation, pressurized flotation) technology has been developed into DOF (dissolved ozone flotation) technology. DOF technology combines ozone and DAF technology to remove suspended solids and has strong oxidizing power of ozone at the same time. Currently, DOF technology can remove suspended solids, BOD, COD, TOC, color, odor, and microorganisms in one process.
At this exhibition, we also introduced this DOF (Dissolved Ozone Flotation) technology. DOF technology is a compound word of DAF (dissolved air flotation) technology and Ozone. It is a hybrid technology that combines the flotation method with excellent solid-liquid separation ability and the ozone oxidation method with high oxidizing power. It has the advantage that it is possible to simultaneously treat organic matter, phosphorus, color, turbidity, and pathogens (E.
An official from Michigan Technology said, “In particular, by implementing several unit processes into one single process, the application field is wide and the processing efficiency is high. It is possible to inject high-concentration ozone by pressurization, and the ozone consumption efficiency is maximized due to the wide specific surface area of the microbubbles, so the ozone equipment cost reduction effect is excellent. In addition, it is possible to improve the water quality of the effluent area and maximize the reuse of sewage due to the high treatment efficiency of organic matter, phosphorus, color, and pathogens.”
Then, an official said, “The ozone technology is our own technology. I came here to introduce our differentiated technology through the ENTECH exhibition, which many overseas buyers participate in.” I think it can be an opportunity to reach out to the public,” said the background of participating in the exhibition.
Meanwhile, ENTECH 17, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary this year, is Korea’s representative environment, energy, and carbon neutrality exhibition, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the International Newspaper, and supervised by BEXCO, Today Energy, and KOTRA.
