Taeyang Co., Ltd. (CEO Soo-hong Kim) announced that it participated in the ‘7 Korea International Safety & Health Show (KISS 3)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang from Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 2023.
Taeyang, a company specializing in safety shoes, is seeking to continuously develop products to meet the needs of consumers by securing a network and development experts for differentiated products with 40 years of technology and experience.
At this exhibition, ‘Special Force’ safety shoes were mainly introduced. This product was produced to reflect the needs of consumers, boasts a wide foot width, and is made of top-quality nubuck leather to ensure durability. In addition, a 4D structured midsole that is effective in preventing ankle twisting was adopted, and the newly developed outsole was designed to be non-slippery against oil, water, and detergent solutions.
An official from Taeyang said, “Based on the slogan, ‘Feet must be comfortable in the field,’ we have conducted continuous research and development by asking ourselves for many years, ‘Which products can make consumers’ feet comfortable?’” and “Safety shoes. Many subsidiary materials are used in construction, but I think the materials that have the most influence on comfortable wearing are the outsole, toe cap, and insole. “I am proud that we have produced complete safety shoes through continuous research and development of the materials mentioned above,” he said with pride.
It was also emphasized that 4-inch products with boost outsoles are currently being used by many large companies, and that they are providing good quality products to consumers at reasonable prices through a nationwide dealer distribution network.
Future plans were also revealed. An official said, “In the case of logistics centers, the problem of the front part of safety shoes being stuck in the box is a vulnerability. “We plan to release safety shoes to complement this,” he said. “The basic property of safety shoes is to protect the feet, but there is a perception that they are heavy and uncomfortable. Accordingly, the company added, “By applying a relaxed toe cap, we will launch an insulated shoe that can withstand the load of a normal work safety shoe up to heavy work use, and has a comfortable fit using Taeyang’s unique technology.”
He continued, “We plan to continue to develop and supply customized safety shoes to industrial sites such as construction sites and the steel industry by developing a new wide toe cap that takes into account the size of consumers’ feet.”
