K Defense Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Kim Byeong-cheol and Kim Young-soo) participated in the ‘7 Korea International Safety & Health Show (KISS 3)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang from July 6rd (Monday) to 2023th (Thursday).
K-Defense, established under the vision of taking responsibility for industrial safety in Korea, has developed IT convergence smart respirators and other personal safety protective equipment (PPE). In particular, the company was recognized for its excellent technology by receiving the Presidential Award in the industrial technology category for the firefighting industry for its firefighting breathing apparatus ‘KD-F45’.
At this exhibition, K-Defense presented a variety of safety equipment, focusing on fire respirators. Firefighting air respirators used during fire suppression and industrial inspection activities are equipped with a thermal imaging camera, face-mounted communication kit (KIT), height adjustment and moving backrest, and an electronic pressure indicator integrated with usage time, ambient temperature, and lifesaving alarm. It was introduced as a multi-functional IT convergence smart air respirator.
K-Defense’s air respirators have been supplied to domestic firefighting headquarters, government offices (Navy, Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc.), and industrial companies. In addition, further development is ongoing by upgrading the management system (KD-NET) linked to the air respirator so that related data such as dispatch and return, location tracking, suppression, and dangerous status can be linked to the command center.
In addition, K-Defense attracted the attention of visitors by introducing the initial suppression equipment needed to extinguish lithium-ion batteries such as electric vehicles through this exhibition. K Defense’s goal is to contribute to social safety and disaster prevention with its fire extinguishing equipment.

In this exhibition hosted by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, organized and operated by the Safety Protection Gear Association and Contest Exhibition, and sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, △industrial safety and protective gear △industrial health and occupational health △chemical industry safety and disaster prevention industry △smart safety △public service and Items related to public safety management were exhibited and introduced.
