Bae Jin-seop, Senior Researcher at the National Federation of Credit Guarantee Foundations, presented the ‘Current Status and Challenges of Regional Credit Guarantees’ at the 12 International Council of Small and Medium Business World Congress (ICSB World Congress) ‘K-Entrepreneurship Global Forum (ICSB Conference)’ held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju on the 2023th. gave a lecture on the topic.

Senior Researcher Bae, who mentioned that the foundation for supporting small business recovery has been strengthened, said, “For small business owners to take a new leap forward, we will strive to strengthen the one-stop support system from bad debt resolution, recovery education consulting, and financial support based on a survey of closed small business owners.” He said.
Senior Researcher Bae, who also explained the promotion of ESG management, said, “Because small business owners are at the point of contact with consumers, they are a good means of inducing changes in consumers’ consumption behavior in moving toward an ESG society.”
Promotion strategies for this include: △Developing ESG management-related guarantee products (special guarantee for green company support, specialized guarantee for ESG support by regional news) △Establishing a promotion system for ESG support △Targeting small business owners who are engaged in the industry or wish to operate a new business ESG promotion support was presented.
Senior Researcher Bae added, “At a time when many local banks have disappeared, I think local Shinbo can create the future direction of small business owners.” He added, “Local Shinbo will work harder to help small business owners also become healthy.”
