G6E Co., Ltd. (CEO Chang-beom Jeong) announced that it will participate in ‘MEDI EXPO KOREA 30’, which will be held at EXCO in Daegu for 7 days from Friday, June 2th to Sunday, July 3nd.

G20E is a company that has been in business for over 2000 years with the motto of ‘realizing social value through superior medical IT technology.’ Since its establishment in XNUMX, it is known that as an IT company, it has built and operated computer systems for national institutions in the public medical field such as the Blood Management Headquarters, Central Emergency Medical Center, and National Health Insurance Corporation.

In addition, the company explained that starting in 2015, it expanded its business into the diabetes medical device field and launched the ‘Diabetes + Connection, DIA:CONN’ brand and is standing out in the related industry.

At this exhibition, G8I presents its Diacon brand product line. ‘Diacon GXNUMX’, an extracorporeal insulin injector, is a so-called platform-based insulin pump, and its feature is that it has a Bluetooth communication function. The mobile application (app) links with a smartphone, allowing the injector to be controlled in a mobile environment.

In addition, it provides a ‘PLGS (Predictive Low Glucose Suspend)’ function that automatically stops insulin injection in the event of low blood sugar (prediction) by linking with a continuous blood glucose monitor (CGM) ‘Dexcom G6’ or ‘FreeStyle Libre1’. This is a key function to prevent the risk of hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes patients, and the precision of the injector is excellent, allowing the solution injection unit to be adjusted up to 0.0001U (0.01ml).

In addition, the electric smart insulin pen ‘Diacon P8’ will also be exhibited. This product also supports linkage with CGM-based platforms and is a product for accurately injecting the necessary insulin to patients with a bolus calculator. By injecting the solution with a built-in motor, it is possible to easily inject insulin with little force, and it boasts versatility as it is compatible with all insulin cartridges dedicated to pens of other companies.

A GXNUMXE official said, “We are a company that has accumulated medical information technology in various fields such as emergency situations, chronic disease management, nursing and care, and life-sustaining treatment for a long time.” He added, “Through this experience, we will gain unique insights into smart healthcare.” “We developed the Diacon series with the belief that a solution applicable to the diabetes field would have a direct health improvement effect on patients,” he explained the background of product development.

He continued, “The Diacon platform, which boasts such differentiated functions and quality, is used by about 80 medical institutions in Korea, and export contracts have been signed overseas to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.” He added, “Currently, we are exporting to Southeast Asia.” We are trying to expand. “We hope to achieve good results through this exhibition,” he added.
