Lameditech participated in ‘MEDI EXPO KOREA 6’ held at EXCO in Daegu for 30 days from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, July 2nd.
LAMEDITECH, a global medical device company that develops and sells laser medical devices, introduced the ‘Handy Ray’ series of laser blood collection devices at this exhibition.
The ‘HandyRay’ series of laser blood collection devices is a product developed to collect peripheral blood. The laser blood collection device is a product that overcomes the shortcomings of existing blood collection devices (aka ‘lancets’) that use common needles, and does not use needles.
This has the advantage of not causing fear of needles, reducing the pain of blood collection, and leaving no calluses or needle marks. In particular, the HandyRay series, which can prevent secondary infections, can be used when measuring blood sugar levels for diabetes and with various blood tests or POCT equipment using peripheral blood.
An official from Lameditech said, “HandyRay, a laser blood collection device that can collect blood without a needle, is useful for blood sugar testing in early-stage diabetic patients due to its low pain. “We are currently establishing a cooperation system in various hospitals, and are also exporting to Russia and Italy.”
