Incore (CEO Kim Dong-tak) announced that it will participate in the ‘6 International Advanced Medical Devices and Medical Industry Exhibition (KOAMEX 30)’, which will be held at EXCO in Daegu for three days from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, July 2nd.
Founded in 2014, Incore is a company that has researched and developed medical devices that reflect the needs of medical field specialists. The company explains that it has secured differentiated competitiveness in the related industry through its R&D-based portfolio and services, and is continuing to grow into a company with a promising future by accumulating specialized capabilities in the field of endoscopic medical devices.
At this exhibition, Incore plans to mainly showcase its disposable endoscopic trocar (laparoscopic trocar) and its new adhesive transparent wound dressing material ‘LACUDY’.
These laparoscopic trocars are sterilized medical devices used to secure a passage for the insertion of medical instruments during procedures. The cannula surface is serrated and has a special design that prevents the instruments from easily falling out or air leaking during medical procedures. It has been done. Compared to other products previously released on the market, Incore develops and provides laparoscopic trocars of various specifications.
LACUDY, an adhesive transparent wound dressing that is also on display, is manufactured in a high viscosity gel-type formulation, so it has less shedding and has the effect of forming an osmotic membrane, enabling both absorption of exudate and supply of moisture. In addition, when applied to the affected area, it forms a thin film after a certain period of time, which not only protects the wound, but also suppresses harmful bacteria by creating a slightly acidic pH, creating an optimal environment for skin regeneration.

An Incore official said, “As the medical device market, which has been shrinking due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic for the past several years, shows signs of full-scale recovery, we hope to expand both existing and new customers by participating in this exhibition.” He added, “In particular, the newly released adhesive “It was also of great significance to measure market response by promoting transparent wound dressings and veterinary medical devices on a large scale,” he said, explaining the reason for participating in this exhibition.
“Furthermore, our company has launched ‘EXCUDY’, an anti-adhesion coating material that has excellent biodegradability and a high viscosity formulation to easily prevent adhesion within the abdominal cavity, and ‘CORE’, a sustained-release drug delivery system that contributes to continuous pain relief for patients by controlling the drug release rate. “We are currently researching and developing ‘DDS’ and others,” he said, adding, “We will soon commercialize these products to expand our portfolio and promote the development and growth of the company.”
Meanwhile, the main exhibition items of ‘KOAMEX 2023’ hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City and K-MEDI Hub are as follows. △Diagnostic and diagnostic devices such as scanners, measuring devices, and imaging devices △Clinical and inspection devices △Surgical and recycling devices △Hospital facilities and emergency equipment △Medical devices, parts, and services △Pharmaceutical devices △Medical services, SW
