    Keimyung University’s Usability Evaluation Research Center (Director Jongha Lee) will hold the ‘6 International Advanced Medical Devices and Medical Industry Exhibition (KOAMEX 30)’ held at EXCO in Daegu for three days from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, July 2nd. announced that they would participate.

    Keimyung University’s Usability Evaluation Research Center, one of the KOLAS testing and certification institutions, is an organization that analyzes the usability of various products with quantitative data and plays a role in product improvement and verification.

    Recently, as certification of medical device usability has become mandatory in the medical device registration and licensing process, we provide a service for issuing related reports and certificates to professional medical professionals. In addition, it is known that specialized usability evaluations are also performed in the fields of digital therapeutics and future mobility.

    Their evaluation process is based on human factors analysis using data such as movement, cognition, and senses, and supports product verification consulting through systematic usability evaluation consulting and product usability evaluation (comprehensive evaluation) from the company’s product design.

    To secure the expertise of such evaluations, the center employs personnel from various fields, including medical staff from Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center, medicine, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, and industrial design, and has established an industry-academia-research network infrastructure through MOUs with over 50 related companies at home and abroad. The center explains that it has been built.

    In addition, the company succeeded in acquiring specialized human factor analysis technology by securing a total of 130 labs with its own infrastructure, including usability evaluation analysis equipment worth about 9 billion won and a simulation lab that can create a product use environment.
