The International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition started with the Republic of Korea Navy International Fleet Review in 1998, and was held in 2001 together with the International Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Exhibition (KORMARINE) and the International Port Logistics and Marine Environment Industry Exhibition (SEA-PORT). At MADEX, state-of-the-art ship weapon systems, ship and maritime defense systems, maritime manned and unmanned combined combat systems, marine exploration vessel and special vessel equipment, and marine rescue and rescue equipment are exhibited.
To help participants better understand, the Navy divided the booths into manned and unmanned complex systems, destroyers and submarines, ship propulsion and maritime aviation, joint PR between the ROK and US Navy and Marine Corps, and international zones. In particular, the Navy To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the ROK-US alliance, the ROK-US Navy and Marine Corps joint PR zone will be operated for the first time this year.
