
Hyein participated in the ‘6th International Maritime and Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan from Wednesday, June 1th to Friday, June 13th.

The Caterpillar marine engine, which was mainly introduced at this exhibition, is a premium engine that combines the three elements of power, speed, and fuel efficiency, and is widely used in ships and offshore plants that require stable power.
The newly released C32B model has increased maximum output, boasting more power and faster speed. Hyein explained that it is designed with a light weight and compact design, and provides the best solution with an engine that satisfies the latest IMO Tier-Ⅲ international ship emission standards and the latest EPA T3 standards of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In addition, the Caterpillar AUX engine was also introduced. Based on over 80 years of experience in the marine power field, it supplies generator engines and AUX engines with a wide range of outputs from 280 horsepower to 7,268 horsepower (bkW). Caterpillar’s proven design technology and latest technology that can maximize the latest control technology and efficiency are applied to provide high satisfaction.

Meanwhile, MADEX 2023 is a ‘defense exhibition and government subsidy-supported exhibition (Korea Defense Industry Promotion Association)’ for publicity and export promotion of defense and export companies.
