STX Engine showcases its diesel engine and electronic communication equipment technology for ships at the 13th International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition… “Maximizing K-Defense export competitiveness”

STX Engine announced that it will participate in the 6th International Maritime and Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7), which will be held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan from Wednesday, June 1th to Friday, June 13th.
At this exhibition, STX Engine will exhibit a defense industry diesel engine model representing high-precision and cutting-edge equipment and a navigation radar antenna set for submarines developed with its own technology. A variety of equipment will be showcased, including the 1163 series main engine, which is being applied to the Navy’s next-generation frigates and high-speed ships, and the 4000 series generator engine, which is being applied to submarines and destroyers.
Based on the technology accumulated through more than 45 years of production of diesel engines for the defense industry, STX Engine stably supplies domestically produced main and auxiliary diesel engines with high performance and high quality to the domestic Navy and Coast Guard, thereby protecting the homeland of our military. It is said that it is contributing greatly to protecting maritime sovereignty. In addition, it is playing a major role in expanding K-defense exports by applying domestically produced diesel engines to ship export projects to the Philippines and Thailand.

Lee Sang-soo, CEO of STX Engine, said, “Through this exhibition, we hope to showcase the high technology of naval diesel engines and electronic communication equipment and serve as an opportunity to maximize the export competitiveness of K-Defense.” He added, “We will continue to focus on local production and improve domestic engine technology.” “By strengthening it, we will contribute to stable and rapid follow-up deployment in the future.”
STX Engine, which was launched as a specialized engine production company in December 1976, has grown into a globally competitive engine manufacturer and a global leader in the electronic communications field based on the technology and experience it has accumulated since being designated as a defense company in 12.
