Yehyang, which boasts the taste of rice cakes that has been in the family business for 20 years, said that it makes safe and healthy rice cakes by carefully selecting only the clean water, clean air, and good rice from Hoengseong, Gangwon-do. In particular, it produces rice cakes that do not harden, and thanks to the punching technique and moisture retention technique, it has a chewy taste even when thawed after refrigerated or frozen storage.
‘Dangchaewo One-Bite Drop Kkul Rice Cake’, which was featured mainly in this exhibition, is characterized by the combination of soft sweet honey rice cake and sesame seeds that pop in the mouth. In addition, bite-sized Anko rice cakes made from domestically produced moss leaves, Baram rice cakes made with sweet red bean paste, and Anko slices were also introduced.
A Yehyang official explained the product, saying, “Yehyang rice cakes are made with natural colors and do not use additives. When frozen naturally at room temperature, they boast the same texture as freshly made rice cakes.”
Meanwhile, ‘Seoul International Food Industry Fair 2023’ hosted by KOTRA will provide various programs to expand business networks, conferences to discuss food trends and insights at home and abroad, along with strengthening exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign food companies. done.
