‘Jeonju Chokongnamu’, the main product featured in this exhibition, is a chocolate snack with a crunchy texture made from bean sprouts grown in Jeonju and Korean wheat. ‘Jeonju Chokongnamu’ was developed by covering confectionary sticks made from Jeonju wheat with chocolate using cacao powder, a fair trade certified material, and adding roasted Jeonju bean sprouts to enhance antioxidant activity and add a crunchy texture.
The product name ‘Chocon Tree’ contains the meanings of ‘chocolate’, ‘bean sprout bean’, and ‘tree’ symbolizing Jeonju, a garden city with XNUMX million trees.
