Music Metro is a company that imports and distributes products from global pro audio brands such as ‘Avid’ and ‘PMC’ to the domestic market. It is also the only Dolby Atmos official training partner in Korea certified by Dolby Korea, the Korean branch of Dolby, which leads the industry by presenting standard formats to the global audio and video market.

At this exhibition, Music Metro plans to provide visitors with an even more special experience by setting up an experience zone where they can directly experience Dolby Atmos technology and the Pro Tools system through brand products distributed by the company.

Music Metro’s Dolby Atmos experience zone will be the largest in KOBA 2023, and will provide listening opportunities by exhibiting PMC’s new products, which have recently received great attention from experts and audio enthusiasts in Korea. In addition, on-site seminars on Dolby Atmos music mixing, Pro Tools Hybrid engine, and surround sound design will be held with experts in each field.

In addition, the best engineers and specialists from each brand will also visit the exhibition site, hosted by Avid and PMC headquarters. An official from Music Metro said, “Since our establishment in 2005, we are Korea’s leading digital audio company that provides integrated solutions in all fields ranging from professional studios, live sound, sound systems, and video based on our experience and know-how in the DAW field.” He said, “We are fully prepared to provide the best experience to visitors at this exhibition, so please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
