Nubi Lab, a Naver D2SF investment company, has been participating in CES since 2022, and set up a standalone booth for the first time this year to showcase key solutions under the themes of digital healthcare, food tech, and sustainability. At the booth, digital healthcare concepts such as ▲infant growth management solution ▲eating habits management solution for chronic disease patients ▲mobile food diary ▲food scan API were displayed, focusing on Nubilab’s core solution, ‘AI Food Scanner’.
In addition, a collaboration was conducted with artist Eunha Kim, who is attracting attention as a new installation art artist. Artist Eunha Kim’s representative work, the Bon Appetit series, was exhibited, using discarded clothing to symbolize fast food.
‘Vision N’, which Nubi Lab first unveiled at this CES, is an AI healthcare solution based on eating habits data, and has recently received attention in Korea, including receiving an excellence award at the public-private joint digital startup competition hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Go Young-gon, marketing leader at Nubi Lab, said, “Visitors who visited our booth at this exhibition showed two types of interest. “In relation to sustainability, there were catering companies that showed interest in reducing food waste, and there were also app development companies that showed interest in diet and nutrition management using food data.”
He continued, “In preparing for this exhibition, we tried to convey information visually. “It was a great opportunity to show how the two fields of ‘healthcare and sustainability,’ which were hot topics at CES 2023, can be realized,” he added.
The purpose of Nubi Lab’s participation in CES 2023 is to advance into the global market and expand the healthcare area. In particular, it attracted attention by unveiling the healthcare-related concept ‘Diabetes Management Solution’. This solution provides information on how blood sugar levels will change after a meal when a person with chronic diabetes takes a picture of food before a meal, and is an expanded technology from the AI-based food analysis function.

In addition, we received many inquiries about measuring the freshness of food and measuring various foods from around the world.” “Starting from this CES, we will use our data and food scanning technology to expand into the global food and healthcare industries, including in the United States and Europe.”
