[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] CookingPal participated in ‘CES 1’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 5 days from January 8th (Thursday) to 4th (Sunday, local time), and 2023 Pronto, a smart multi-functional electric pressure cooker that handles eggplant cooking tasks in one device, was introduced.
About the product, the company said that it is the first smart pressure cooker with a fixed hinge lid, automatic pressure release system, and air fryer extension device. It is a new product that follows Multo, a smart cookware introduced by Cooking Pal last year, and is compatible with the company’s smart kitchen hub platform. At the CES2023 booth, Cooking Pal exhibited Pronto along with Multo.
A Cooking Pal official said, “Pronto creates a convenient and safe cooking environment for people who want to break away from traditional cooking methods, saving time and manual work.”
Pronto’s basic functions include pressure cooking, stir-frying, slow cooking, kneading, steaming, fermentation, disinfection, warming, and weight measurement, and related functions can be added by installing air fryer accessories sold separately. Users can control and monitor Pronto through the device’s interface, which consists of a jog dial, 4.3-inch color screen, and two buttons, or through Cooking Pal’s companion app.
Cooking Pal also emphasized the simplicity and safety of Pronto. Unlike other pressure cookers that have a removable lid, it has a spring-loaded and fixed hinged lid, reducing the risk and stress caused by device failure. The 6-quart (5.68L) capacity pot is removable and has a handle, and is suitable for preparing meals for a household of four. Safety sensors and an automatic pressure release function safely control the pressure cooker, and a steam bypass device protects users from high-pressure steam.
The company later asked people to pay attention to its design philosophy of pursuing simplicity and Pronto’s ‘less but better’ design. The mechanical functions of the product are optimized for ergonomics, and the product color of white with black and charcoal is reminiscent of a futuristic lifestyle enhanced by cutting-edge technology.
Lastly, we also introduced the Cooking Pal Smart Kitchen Hub, which connects to Pronto and Multo to enhance the functionality of devices. This automated digital assistant manages the connected CookingPal cookware or portfolio of appliances and assists the user with expert guidance and helpful cooking materials. Hub also has hundreds of nutritious recipes with detailed step-by-step instructions and offers live cooking classes with chefs by appointment. The recipe library allows users to contribute directly, sharing appropriate health goals, ingredient information, and where to purchase.
An official said, “Pronto’s basic set includes an ergonomic spatula with a foot, a measuring cup, and a steamer with silicone legs and handles. “If you purchase an additional air fryer device separately and install it on Pronto, which is the first of its kind for a pressure cooker product, you can fry or bake food,” he said. “Cooking Pal is meeting the increasing demand for air fryers that can cook food healthily, quickly, and crisply. “With this in mind, we developed this to eliminate the burden of purchasing a new dedicated device.”
Pronto will be released in the third quarter of 2023, and an additional air fryer dedicated to Pronto will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
