IBeam Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Pil-han) announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 5’ held at COEX, Seoul for three days from May 10 (Wed) to 12 (Fri).
I-Beam Technology is a company founded on the basis of the original biomicroscopy technology developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). The biomicroscope of I-Beam Technology is a key solution that can explore the complex dynamic behavior of numerous cells inside living organisms. It is known that it is possible to immediately check in 3D.
The IVM-CMS3 model to be introduced at this exhibition is an all-in-one confocal & two-photon biomicroscope that maximizes user convenience by packaging various components and functions necessary for bioimaging of living animals in one box. IVM-CMS3 is a product that integrates all the functions of a confocal two-photon microscope into one microscope, and enables a wide range of living body imaging, from experiments using various fluorescence to Z-Stack imaging of deep tissues.
IBeam Technology said, “We actively communicated with existing users and actively reflected the inconveniences that occurred when using the equipment and the hopes of having such a function, so we renewed it.” It is a model that has been stabilized so that it can be imaged for a long time more stably than the model, and it is a model that has been renewed by trying to expand the observable organs by newly installing an animal body temperature maintenance device, respiratory anesthesia device, and organ-customized chambers.”
In Korea, iBeam Technology’s IVM series models were delivered to affiliated research institutes and hospitals such as Seoul National University Medical School, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, IBS, KAIST, GIST, and Pusan National University Hospital. Overseas, the company explained that it supplied equipment to Harvard Medical School for the first time as a domestic research equipment company last year, and delivered two of its M2 products to two universities in China earlier this year. Currently, iBeam Technology is conducting aggressive sales and marketing activities targeting the global market in order to develop sales channels and expand its presence in the market.
As such, IBeam Technology plans to target the global biopharmaceutical market by carrying out intensive global campaigns and promotions in the US, Europe and China with the renewed IVM-CMS series products. We are planning global exhibitions, seminars, and demonstration programs through local overseas sites.

Meanwhile, ‘BIO KOREA 18’, which celebrated its 2023th this year, is hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do.
