GC Cell (hereinafter referred to as GC Cell) participated in ‘BIO KOREA 5 (Bio Korea 10)’ held at COEX in Seoul for 12 days from Wednesday, May 3th to Friday, 2023th and introduced cell therapy products. .

GC Green Cross began developing technologies for commercialization, including basic research, culture processes, and culture technology, in 2008. To secure a long-term growth engine, the company established GC Green Cross Lab Cell, a cell therapy company, in 2011, and in 2012, it acquired Innocell, a bio venture company with strengths in cell therapy, and newly launched it as GC Green Cross Cell.
Since then, GC Pharma’s cell therapy research has been conducted with these two companies as the mainstay under the motto of creating synergy toward leading companies in the related market. GC Green Cross Lab Cell achieved the feat of exporting CAR-NK cell therapy technology worth approximately 2021 trillion won with MSD of the United States in 2. GC Green Cross Cell holds the title of producing the world’s largest cell therapy product through its top-selling domestically produced anticancer drug ‘Immuncell-LC’.
We are researching and developing cell and gene treatments based on NK cells, T cells, and stem cells, and have been manufacturing and selling Immune Cell LCD since 2007.
The cell therapy products introduced in this exhibition are medicines manufactured by culturing and proliferating living autologous allogeneic cells in vitro and changing the characteristics of the cells using physical, chemical, and physiological methods.
Meanwhile, ‘BIO KOREA 18’, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary this year, was hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do. BIO KOREA, which has been striving to improve the global status and sustainable growth of the Korean health industry since 2006, is solidifying its position as Korea’s representative biohealth international convention with the participation of world-class scholars and business experts every year.
