Cognex Korea’s Logistics Business Department (Director Park Min-hong) announced that it will participate in the 4th International Logistics Industry Exhibition (KOREA MAT 18), which will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan for four days from Tuesday, April 21th to Friday, April 4st.
Cognex plans to showcase its advanced technology through this exhibition. Under the theme of ‘Accelerating Warehouse Automation’, a variety of new products will be displayed, including Cognex’s logistics solutions DataMan580, In-Sight 2800, and a modular vision tunnel that minimizes the installation time of existing logistics tunnels. Cognex said, “Our smart total logistics automation solution is attracting attention as a solution that provides a quick and accurate logistics processing environment while also being able to utilize various applications using deep learning.”
Cognex’s exhibition booth was designed to provide a look at the entire process of logistics automation, from inbound, fulfillment, logistics classification, and outbound.
First, we will exhibit DataMan580, a fixed barcode reader for high-speed logistics work that can efficiently read barcodes in inbound parts. DataMan 580 is equipped with an advanced decoding algorithm optimized for multi-code and multi-symbol labels, enabling accurate reading. In addition, it is equipped with a 580-megapixel (MP) image optimized for logistics work, supporting a reading range that is more than twice that of existing barcode readers with a larger field of view and depth.
The fulfillment part exhibits In-Sight 2800, which improves logistics process efficiency through Item Classification, Item Detection, and conveyor belt hygiene management, which are widely used in logistics. In addition, Cognex’s hands-free application, which allows workers to scan barcodes while freely moving both hands in the field, will also be on display.
In particular, the modular vision tunnel, which increases operational convenience for customers by enabling accurate reading rates and quick installation on high-speed logistics lines, will also be displayed. The DWS system and Insight 2800 Item Detection, which can measure the volume and weight of cargo on a conveyor belt, will also be displayed. Is expected
In addition, the powerful DataMan470 series, which uses Cognex’s proprietary algorithm, will showcase the ability to quickly and accurately read barcodes on shipping chute.
Minhong Park, Managing Director of Cognex Logistics Division, said, “This exhibition is a comprehensive collection of new products and technologies that Cognex has introduced over the past year, and is an opportunity to show what efforts Cognex is making to respond to the increasingly sophisticated smart logistics industry. “I think it will be,” he said. “All of Cognex’s technologies, including machine learning-based smart vision cameras, barcode readers, and modular vision tunnels that modularize them, can be seen at this exhibition. “I hope you will experience the future of the smart logistics industry with Cognex’s total logistics solution that not only improves accuracy but also enhances customer convenience and time reduction.”
