Hibo Co., Ltd. (CEO Youngbin Son) announced that it will participate in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.

Established in 2018, Hivo is a company that has developed mid- to short-range 3D Solid State LiDAR systems specialized for robots, smart factories, and safety. In 2019, Kickstarter funding was raised and ‘iLidar-ToF’ was launched as the first prototype in 21. Furthermore, the company succeeded in attracting pre-Series A investment in 2021, launched its first mass-produced product, ‘iLidar-ToF TFS’ last year, and is currently pursuing full-fledged targeting of domestic and overseas markets.

At this exhibition, Hivo will present iLidar-ToF, which applies its 3D Solid State LiDAR implementation technology. This product supports a viewing angle of 120° horizontally and 60° vertically, and a measurement distance of 12m to 25m for each mode. It has a solid state structure that enables 3D measurement with a single capture without any internal structural movement. Accordingly, it is characterized by not only high durability but also excellent reliability.

Furthermore, Hibo’s iLidar-ToF is made up of commercial parts and has a simple structure, making it easy to develop and mass produce. At the same time, it also has the advantage of being able to implement various angles and measurement distances simply by replacing the optical system without additional development.

An official from Hibo said, “Our products are highly regarded for their high reliability and simplicity, and are in demand in various fields such as serving robots, unmanned loading robots, security surveillance and safety, and volume measurement systems in the European and American markets.” Accordingly, consultations for delivery are actively underway, and we are also looking for partners to target the local market.”

He continued, “In particular, as this exhibition is an exhibition that has resumed in earnest after the era of With Corona, we are also looking forward to the effects that can be achieved by directly showcasing and introducing products on site.” He added, “We are looking forward to recruiting buyers and partners, attracting investments, etc. “I hope we can achieve great results in this area,” he added.

Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry. The 2023 World IT Show, with the slogan ‘Changing our life, K-Digital’, will feature △AI, IoT & ICT convergence services △Digital Twin & Metaverse △Smart Living and Healthcare △Robotics The latest technologies and products in the fields of △future mobility such as autonomous driving and UAM, and △blockchain & security will be displayed and introduced. In addition, the ‘WIS 2023 Innovation Award’ and the ‘2023 Korea ImpaCT-ech Grand Prize’ will be awarded to the technologies and products that attract the most attention among participating companies.
