LG Electronics participated in the ‘2023 World IT Show (WIS 2023)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 19 to Friday, April 21, and introduced innovative products under the theme of ‘Life’s Good’.
LG Electronics’ brand symbol ‘Face of the Future’, which welcomes visitors at the front of the 870㎡ exhibition hall, attracted attention by showing various movements and expressions through a large OLED signage screen.
LG Electronics presented the LG Signature OLED M, which is a culmination of 10 years of OLED TV innovation, to domestic visitors for the first time. This product is based on technology that wirelessly transmits 4K/120Hz video, eliminating all wires except the power source to neatly organize the space around the TV. It has received about 70 CES-related awards from leading global media outlets, including innovation awards in two categories and the top award from CES’ official partner Engadget at the CES held in Las Vegas last January.
In addition, at this exhibition, not only the 2023 LG OLED EVO (model name: G3), which is up to 70% brighter than regular OLED TVs, but also lifestyle TVs such as LG OLED Objet Collection ‘Forget’ and ‘Easel’ that enhance the quality of installation space. You can experience it. Forje and Ezel received top awards from global design awards IDEA and Red Dot, respectively, for their innovative designs unique to LG OLED TV.
In addition, the colorful color experience created by the mood-up refrigerator also attracted the attention of visitors. The Mood Up refrigerator is a product that allows you to change the color of the refrigerator door to one of approximately 190,000 color combinations by selecting the desired color through the LG ThinQ app. If you post a photo taken against the background of the color panorama created by a group of Mood Up refrigerators and Mood Up Kimchi refrigerators on SNS, you can print it out right on the spot.
LG Electronics also created a space where you can directly experience home appliances optimized for three concept lifestyle spaces. In addition to a unique space consisting of Stand By Me, LG Twoon Mini, and Dios Objet Collection 6-person dishwasher, you can experience the ultra-premium built-in ‘Signature Kitchen Suite’ in the luxury kitchen concept space.
LG Electronics’ IT product line, which GenZ (Generation Z) is particularly interested in, can also be found in one place. You can experience a diverse lineup of the 2023 LG Gram, including the LG Gram Style, which changes color depending on the angle of light or viewing direction, and the thinnest LG Gram ever at just 10.9mm thick. In addition, you can enjoy games using LG UltraGear’s gaming monitor, laptop, and speakers, and the bendable OLED gaming TV ‘LG OLED Flex’, which can bend the screen in a total of 20 levels.
Premium shoe care solution LG Styler Shoecase/Shoe Care, smart sleep care solution ‘brid (brid.zzz)’, and ‘Excicle’, which gives you the immersive experience of riding a real bicycle indoors, are combined with LG Electronics’ latest technology. You can also experience innovative products firsthand.
The new LG Chloe Servebot, which was unveiled for the first time at this exhibition, uses independent suspension on six wheels to stably deliver soup dishes. Compared to existing products, the tray is wider and can hold up to 40kg, making it easy to transport a variety of items and large amounts, from heavy Western dishes to Korean food with a large variety of dishes.
In addition, eco-friendly products using recycled plastic such as the ‘Sustainable Cycle’ sculpture introducing the ESG vision and plant-based home appliances LG Twoon Mini, LG Sound Bar, and PuriCare Aero Furniture were also displayed, as well as electronic whiteboards and smart monitors.
