Yuroom Co., Ltd. (CEO Jaehong Park) participated in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.
Yuroom, which started with the motto of ‘Connecting Spaces’, is a startup that pursues connectivity through virtual space and provides OwnXR, a metaverse creation platform centered on personal space. Our vision is to provide a platform where everyone can easily create the metaverse they truly want through OwnXR, and further utilize virtual space effectively in real life, thereby realizing benefits in each individual’s life.
Through OwnXR, a web-based metaverse creation platform, we aim to distribute a highly scalable metaverse that can be practically used by companies in various industries. This project is to introduce OwnXR, which is currently in beta testing, to domestic and overseas markets. Participated in the exhibition.
Regarding this, a Yuroom official said, “OwnXR’s ultimate goal is ‘a web-based metaverse creation platform where users can truly build their own metaverse by designing and applying not only the external design of the metaverse but also specialized functions. OwnXR allows anyone to easily build a metaverse through a web browser, and access it anytime, anywhere without device restrictions. The created space can be shared through the community within the platform, and furthermore, it can be used as your own 3D homepage or event page through domain connection, so it has excellent scalability. In addition, as a creator economy that allows users to generate profits by registering and selling virtual assets they have created on the market within the platform, reasonable production and maintenance costs were also cited as an advantage through Yurum’s own patented technology.
An official said, “The current Metaverse market is focused only on specific generations or specific industries, and accessibility is inconvenient. Accordingly, we plan to introduce a differentiated solution to the metaverse market by introducing OwnXR, Yurum’s web-based metaverse creation platform. “OwnXR aims to provide a continuous metaverse experience that can be useful in various industries such as personal life, education, art, music, F&B, and tourism,” he said.
Next, future plans were also revealed. In the first half of this year, we will launch an enterprise plan equipped with corporate-specific features that increase the usability of Metaverse, such as real-time simultaneous editing of Metaverse, media library linking between team members, Metaverse editing history backup, and visitor statistics analysis. We plan to develop and apply application functions that can design and advance the direction of the metaverse by creating and adding or downloading the application ourselves and selecting and applying advanced functions.
Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry.
