However, products containing magnets have not been certified as Qi standard products by the Qi standard of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), which sets the standard for wireless charging technology for mobile devices. However, in 2020, Apple introduced MagSafe, which has a magnet built into the iPhone. The situation changed when the method was introduced. Now, the WPC has released the Qi2 standard, which has been updated to include wireless charging methods including magnets.
Dong-in Kim, CEO of Static, said, “Our Mac Plus battery is the most reasonable model for wireless charging of mobile devices such as smartphones, and if you attach it to the smartphone and connect the cable to the Mac Plus battery, the smartphone and Mac Plus battery can be charged quickly. “We propose the most complete mobile wireless charging method because it charges at the same speed.”
Currently, Static is rushing to expand overseas as the WPC standard has been updated to Qi2 with the end of Corona.
