    Kwon Kyeong-an, head of Techcross Research Institute, spoke on the ‘Techcross water electrolysis business strategy’ at the ’14rd Hydrogen Market Insights (H3MI)’ green hydrogen commercialization strategy session held at EXCO (CEO Lee Sang-gil) in Daegu on the 2th. announced about it.

    Research Institute Director Kwon said, “According to key indicators by Net Zero scenario by organization (by country) in 2050, electrolyzer demand is expected to be 788GW to 3,800GW,” adding, “Even if all hydrogen projects announced to date are realized, three times more will be needed.” . 

    Research Center Director Kwon then introduced the global market share by electrolyzer type, iridium supply and demand risk, cost composition of electrolyzers (alkaline, IRENA), price trends of water electrolyzer systems, and comparison of alkaline and PEM electrolyzer business feasibility using various visual materials. 

    Research Director Kwon said, “Techcross possesses the original technology for seawater electrolysis and has the ability to develop and manufacture core equipment. “We have also secured an offshore hydrogen production facility tailored to the growth of the offshore wind power market among renewable energy sources,” he said.
