    ‘2023 Seoul Mobility Show’ will be implemented as a metaverse… Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee signs MOU with Inventis and Ketabus for Metabus

    An opportunity has been opened to see the Seoul Mobility Show 2023 through Metaverse.

    The Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee (Chairman of the Organizing Committee and President of the Korea Automobile Industry Association Kang Nam-hoon, hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee), consisting of the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA), the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA), and the Korea Automobile Cooperatives Association (KAICA), held a meeting with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 5th. At the Seocho-gu Automobile Center, a business agreement was signed with the Inventis Co., Ltd. and Ketabus Co., Ltd. consortium on jointly carrying out the Seoul Mobility Show Metabus construction and operation project, and the decision was made to introduce the Metabus at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show.

    The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held from March 1th (Thursday) to April 3th ​​(Sunday) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 30 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, with a total of 4 exhibitions under the theme of ‘Sustainable·Connected·Mobility (Sustainable·Connected·Mobility)’. It is held daily.

    The agreement ceremony held on the 5th was held with the participation of Seo Jang-seok, Secretary General of the Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee, Inventis CEO Oh Hoon-taek, Ketabus CEO Go Wook, and executives and employees.

    Through this business agreement, the two organizations plan to construct a 3D exhibition hall of major participating companies in the Seoul Mobility Show in the Metaverse space and build and operate a platform where a variety of visitors can view the exhibition comfortably and happily.

    Currently, the organizing committee is discussing with major participating companies new cars and future mobility that will be displayed at the Metaverse exhibition hall and 3D showroom.

    In addition, through consultation with the consortium, the organizing committee plans to set up an offline booth inside the exhibition hall during the Seoul Mobility event and operate a variety of things to see and enjoy, such as metaverse experiences and on-site events for visitors.

    In addition, both organizations plan to develop an application dedicated to the Seoul Mobility Show and provide information that allows visitors to enjoy the Seoul Mobility Show more easily and in detail, such as purchasing tickets at the Metaverse Experience, information on participating companies and entries, experience events, and traffic information.

    An official from the Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee said, “We hope that the introduction of the Metaverse at the Seoul Mobility Show will provide an opportunity for more people to experience and enjoy the mobility ecosystem.” He added, “This Seoul Mobility Show will feature transportation methods such as electrification and autonomous driving.” “It will be a meaningful event where we can check the present and future,” he said.

    Meanwhile, the Seoul Mobility Show is Korea’s only international exhibition accredited by the Organization of the International Automotive Industry (OICA) and has been held every two years since its inception in 1995.
