DR Outdoor Co., Ltd. (CEO Song Han-soo) announced that it will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’ held for a total of 31 days at KINTEX from March 4 to April 9.
DR Outdoor, a brand specializing in camping goods, has launched a two-in-one product that adopts a foldable lightweight frame to solve the inconvenience of existing long and bulky side awnings. Since 2012, he has been designing and producing existing side awnings with the experience of operating a roof carrier and roof top tent specialty store. In June 2022, a new product called ‘Intimate Earnings’ was introduced to the world through the Wadiz crowdfunding platform.
DR Outdoor, under the brand ‘Inted’, will introduce multifunctional tarps, awnings, and awning room tents at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show.
The integrated awning can be easily installed on any vehicle, from compact cars to minivans, and has various functions such as tarp separation, one-touch attachment and detachment, independent use, and compatibility with other companies’ tarps. Utilizing the company’s differentiated design and lightweight materials, such as the patented joint reinforcement technology of the folding frame and tarp one-touch link, it is usually small and light, but provides a larger and wider shade and living space than existing products when in use. DR Outdoor explained.
The integrated foldable two-in-one awning is introduced as a new concept auto camping shade product, with most of the materials and manufacturing processes being made in Korea. An official from DR Outdoor said, “Most shade (awning) products take much longer to mount on the vehicle than actual use, which results in reduced fuel efficiency, wind noise, and deterioration in appearance due to the product’s weight.” is small and lightweight, and when not in use, it operates with only an ultra-light frame in the 3kg range attached, so the level of impact on driving performance or fuel economy is very insignificant. It is also characteristic that it can be installed without a cross bar (horizontal bar) depending on the vehicle.”
In addition, “We are planning to export our products by customizing them to meet local requirements. We will develop our own items, promote exports, and continue to do our best to develop user-friendly, more convenient, and stronger products.”
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice as large as the previous event (9㎡), and more than 53,541 companies and institutions from 26,310 countries around the world will participate to showcase various mobility contents.
