    DNA Motors participates in the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show… “Launched eCITI, an electric motorcycle that integrates two-wheeled vehicle technologies”

    DNA Motors Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Seong-gwan) announced that it will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’ held for a total of 31 days at KINTEX from March 4 to April 9.

    DNA Motors, as a leading manufacturer in the two-wheeled vehicle industry in Korea, is reborn through change and challenge based on ceaseless research and development and advanced product competitiveness. Founded as Daelim Motors in 1978, changed its name to Daelim Motorcycles Co., Ltd. in 40, which celebrated its 2018th anniversary, and was reborn as DNA Motors Co., Ltd. in 2021 to lay the foundation for independent management. In line with the trend of electrification, it is rapidly shifting to the EV line.

    The main product showcased at this exhibition is eCITI, an electric motorcycle that will be released for the first time. It is a domestically produced electric motorcycle independently designed by DNA Motors, and uses Hyundai Kefico’s water-cooled motor to demonstrate performance with a maximum output of 7.2kw. Officials explained that it has secured climbing ability to climb up to 70.8% (35.2 degrees) of the highest inclination angle, and realized 80% climbing ability even with 30kg cargo, enabling driving in most terrains in Korea.

    An official from DNA Motors said, “eCITI, a battery-replaceable electric motorcycle, and D-STATION, an electric two-wheeled vehicle battery exchange center, are attracting attention as a solution to the limitations of the mileage and charging time of existing electric motorcycles. eCITI users can exchange it for a fully charged battery within one minute through a BSS called D-STATION,” he explained. “Currently, about 1 D-STATIONs are installed nationwide, and 190 units will be operated within 2023.” .

    In addition, “We are preparing for the transition to electric motorcycles through the launch of domestically developed and domestically produced eCITI produced at the headquarters of D&A Motors. Subsequent models such as eCITI2 and eCITI3 are currently under development. In addition, with the expansion of D-STATION, we plan to take the lead in preparing an EV ecosystem that is more convenient and can overcome limitations.”

An official said, “Along with ESG management according to changes in the mobility ecosystem, gasoline internal combustion engines will continue to launch products that satisfy Euro 5 and establish themselves as a global standard company. Through this exhibition, we plan to inform more consumers of our value and show overall ‘NEW ORIGINALITY’ through the re-launch of existing original brand products.”

    Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice as large as the previous event (9㎡), and more than 53,541 companies and institutions from 26,310 countries around the world will participate to showcase various mobility contents.
