Mobibugs (CEO Kim Sang-jin) announced that it will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held at KINTEX for a total of 31 days from March 4 to April 9.
Mobibugs has built up its technological capabilities by supplying bare chassis exclusively for camping cars based on KG Mobility’s Rexton Sports Khan.
Mobibugs officially launched the BERET camping car at this Seoul Mobility Show and expressed its ambition, saying, “I want to reorganize the 1-ton truck camping car market, which creates dangerous situations by wobbling on the highway, with the Beret with double wheels.”
Kim Sang-jin, CEO of Mobibugs, is a former Korean drift race champion and has a reputation for manufacturing race cars. Mobibugs R&D CENTER, which started as the best racing team in Korea, developed and applied Korea’s first non-cut extended frame to improve off-road characteristics and driving safety. It is known to have been further strengthened.
Key features include ▲Existing Rexton Sports Khan body on frame length extended by 1,100mm ▲Rexton’s first 17-inch double wheel application (rear wheel) ▲Full body length including cabin 7,160mm, total height 2,880mm ▲General GRP panel Instead, there is the application of an integrated cabin with a reinforced FRP laminated structure.
CEO Sangjin Kim said, “Existing camping cars based on 1-ton trucks have narrow wheels and a high center of gravity, so safety issues constantly arise. “The inherent safety and limitations of a car can be immediately seen when tested at a car race track,” he said. “It is important to know whether the movement in a specific situation is generally controllable or whether it has the basic performance to accommodate it, and in that respect, the Rexton Sports Khan “Despite being a body-on-frame, it has considerably higher driving safety compared to RV vehicles with a monocoque structure,” he emphasized.
KG Mobility is strengthening Rexton’s unique outdoor image and accelerating the improvement of its brand image, starting with the Beret, which is its second product following the road trip camping car.
The camping car Beret, ambitiously prepared by Mobibugs, can be seen at the KG Mobility booth at the 31 Seoul Mobility Show starting on the 2023st.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held.
