Jin Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Jin-nyeon) announced that it will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held at KINTEX for a total of 31 days from March 4 to April 9.
Founded in 2010, Jin specializes in vibration-related sensors, measuring instruments, testing machines, and testing services. In addition, we manufacture next-generation vibration durability testers, single-axis and multi-axis vibration testers, and actual vehicle reproduction testers using electromagnetic actuators (EMA). In the case of electromagnetic actuators, they are designed and manufactured with patents held in-house, and the official explains that they can be configured as test equipment according to various customer requirements in the form of a Lego-type smart actuator.
We provide testing services by configuring a testing system optimized for the diverse and complex requirements of our customers. In addition, we are supplying equipment to domestic and foreign electronics, railway, automobile companies, automobile parts, and module unit manufacturing suppliers, and are developing new concept equipment through technical cooperation.
The products exhibited at this exhibition are in the field of customized test equipment manufacturing using electromagnetic actuators. Electromagnetic actuators are known as next-generation actuators that minimize the shortcomings of existing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators. This equipment is optimized for vibration and repetitive durability tests, enables accurate position control, has a wider frequency range compared to hydraulic actuators, and can be configured as the desired test equipment in series/parallel combination.
The special advantage of testing equipment using electromagnetic actuators is that it is a next-generation testing machine that can be configured in single-axis, multi-axis, parallel, vertical, and horizontal combinations and can freely configure the desired test. In addition, unlike hydraulic and mechanical equipment, it was emphasized that oil or hydraulic oil is not required, so a quiet and clean testing environment can be maintained. Jin officials said, “Testing equipment using electromagnetic actuators enables BSR/NVH testing with low noise, and is 100% domestically developed and manufactured, boasting reasonable prices, maintenance costs, and quick maintenance response.”

Jin is developing systems and equipment necessary for testing individual vehicle parts and module units. Recently, in collaboration with domestic automakers and parts manufacturers, we developed equipment to analyze the driving vibration, road noise, and dynamic stiffness characteristics of suspension modules, and small inertial electronics to analyze vibration characteristics of related parts and systems in line with the growth of the electric vehicle market. We are developing a pneumatic actuator.
An official said, “In addition, we plan to develop a large-capacity, high-frequency electromagnetic actuator and use it as actual vehicle test equipment for the first time as a domestic company.” He added, “As the only company in Korea that produces test equipment using electromagnetic actuators (EMA), our company has many customers. Our goal is to become a leader in the field of vibration durability testing by creating an easily accessible, universal EMA. “We are constantly making efforts to contribute to the domestic research and development environment by domestically producing excellent overseas equipment.”
He continued, “By participating in this Seoul Mobility Show, we want to raise corporate awareness in Korea and promote our products,” and added, “In line with our corporate philosophy of making customers’ dreams come true, we want to provide optimal solutions to various fields in Korea.” reported.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice as large as the previous event (9㎡), and more than 53,541 companies and institutions from 26,310 countries around the world will participate to showcase various mobility contents.
