Bon Air (CEO Shin Min) participated in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which opened on March 31st and will be held at KINTEX for a total of 4 days until April 9th.
Bon Air is a company that develops and operates an Urban Air Mobility (UAM) service platform and launched the UAM service brand ‘Bon Air’ in February of this year. Their services are provided through an exclusive partnership with Korea’s largest helicopter MRO center and UI Helicopter Group, which has 2 years of operating experience, and provides UAM services with helicopters whose safety is guaranteed until eVTOL commercialization.
In addition, Bon Air plans to continue building service infrastructure through the Vertistop Lounge and establish a service area by introducing eVTOL aircraft in the future.
At this exhibition, Bonair focused on promoting its UAM service business vision. Their service is unique in that it goes beyond the scope of general public transportation services and also provides additional services such as transportation, F&B, and first & last mile. The company explains that through this, it will realize a mobility service for seamless movement.
Bon Air plans to begin operation of safety-guaranteed helicopters in collaboration with domestic and foreign partners starting in the second half of 2023, and aims to enter and expand the eVTOL market in 2030. Regarding this, an official said, “Through the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, we aimed to inform people about the next-generation mobility market and, in particular, proactively promote our services.”
He continued, “The UAM service will contribute to improving the quality of life of users by solving problems such as traffic congestion in urban areas and providing fast travel and convenient use,” adding, “Also, once eVTOL is commercialized, Bon Air service will be available.” “We expect that it will further develop and further increase accessibility to fast and safe transportation,” he added.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will begin with a press day on March 1th (Thursday) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 3 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do under the theme of ‘Sustainable·Connected·Mobility (Sustainable·Connected·Mobility)’ and end on April 30th ( It will be held until Sunday. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice the size of the previous event (9㎡), and over 53,541 companies and organizations from 26,310 countries around the world will participate and showcase various mobility contents.
