ROAS (CEO Soon-il Kwon, Geoyong), a company specializing in smart production robots and logistics robots, participated in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which opened on March 31st and will be held for a total of 4 days at KINTEX in Goyang until April 9th.
ROAS Inc. is a robot company that provides industrial robot solutions, ROS-based robot solutions for research and development, and service robot solutions throughout the industry. It includes four-legged robots, four-wheeled robots, collaborative robots, and industrial robots. More than 4 types of robots, including joint robots, have been supplied to industries and public institutions.
We have been providing 3D Vision and AGV/AMR-based industrial robot solutions to smart factories and logistics automation fields, and ROS-based robot solutions for research and development are being supplied to universities, national research institutes, and corporate research institutes. In addition, it is a specialized company that provides service robot solutions based on delivery, patrol, transfer, and guidance functions in various service fields.
LOAS, an official solution partner of Boston Dynamics in the U.S., introduced ‘Spot’, an agile four-legged robot developed by Boston Dynamics and designed to be robust and customizable, through this exhibition.
‘Spot’ is suitable for unstructured environments and is capable of climbing stairs or navigating rough terrain. With the addition of the Clearpath ROS Package for Spot, robotics researchers can take full advantage of out-of-the-box ROS capabilities and accelerate robotics development by leveraging widely available open source libraries, tools, and the large ROS community.
Officials said, “Spot is small enough to be used indoors while traversing rough, unstructured terrain, and is suitable for a variety of research applications and industries, including remote sensing and inspection, construction monitoring, field documentation, radiation detection, environmental monitoring, and more.” He explained.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will begin with a press day on March 1th (Thursday) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 3 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do under the theme of ‘Sustainable·Connected·Mobility (Sustainable·Connected·Mobility)’ and end on April 30th ( It will be held until Sunday. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice the size of the previous event (9㎡), and over 53,541 companies and organizations from 26,310 countries around the world will participate and showcase various mobility contents.
