[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Idm Co., Ltd. (CEO Min Sang-woon), a Gwangju-based air purifier research, development, and manufacturing company, held an event in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 4 days from January 5th (Thursday) to 8th (Sunday, local time). We participated in ‘CES 2023’ held in Vegas and unveiled a car air purifier (Barami 5).
IDM was selected for the Gwangju joint brand ‘GIEL’, which was developed for the purpose of expanding the sales channel for small and medium-sized home appliances in the Gwangju region, and participated in the Gwangju joint brand promotion center operated by Gwangju City and Gwangju Techno Park. Starting with an air purifier for children, IDM has launched a hand sterilizer with an air purification function and an air purification mood light using wood. IDM has built a production facility line at the Gwangju Techno Park Living Support Robot Center and is focusing on promotional marketing and exports.
Barami 5, which IDM introduced at this exhibition, is equipped with 3M’s HEPA filter and photocatalyst condensation ball, and a photocatalyst filter that can be used semi-permanently. An aluminum body was used to improve airflow and performance. It is a method of inhaling polluted air and expelling purified air. It is a low-noise, easy-to-carry product that is suitable for use in indoor spaces such as reading rooms and offices.
It is characterized by being manufactured as a power supply type without the risk of battery explosion due to high temperature when used inside a vehicle. An air quality measurement sensor is installed on the side of the product, which detects the level of air pollution in the car such as CO1, methane, propane, bittern alkanes, styrene propylene, formaldehyde, cigarettes, and oil, and automatically purifies the air at an appropriate wind speed. At this CES, customers from all walks of life, including commercial vehicle drivers, drivers of old vehicles, parents raising infants and young children, and oil company officials, showed interest in Barami 5.
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA.
