    [Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Gwangju-based Bentec Frontier (CEO Ki Yun-jong), a photocatalytic air sterilizer specialist company, held a four-day event in Las Vegas, USA from January 5th (Thursday) to 8th (Sunday, local time). Participated in ‘CES 2023’. Bentech Frontier achieved the feat of signing a $10 million export contract at this exhibition. Starting this year, we plan to export our main products to the United States.

    Bentech Frontier’s ‘antiviral filter module’ was selected as the first excellent research and development innovation product announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT in 2020. It is considered a promising company showing the most notable growth in the photocatalyst research field in the region.

    Bentech Frontier introduced the next-generation air purifier KOKKOS at this CES. It is known that it can remove 99.9% of airborne microorganisms regardless of the type of bacteria or virus. Equipped with a photocatalytic sterilization module (UV-A+TiO2), harmful substances such as germs, bacteria, and viruses are removed upon contact with the filter.

    Officials explain that KOKKOS has a strong suction and sterilizing power, which are essential conditions for preventing infection, and has an advantage in terms of technology compared to competitors. This technology was recognized at CES and resulted in an annual export contract worth $10 million with Virus Xbuster of the United States.

    Ki Yun-jong, CEO of Ventec Frontier Co., Ltd., said, “We developed a new air intake technology and increased product effectiveness by complementing the limitations of existing products. Thanks to the continuous technology development process, we were able to achieve an export contract at the first CES we participated in, and we will continue to develop innovative products. “I will do my best,” he said.
