In particular, the National Committee’s delegation visited the ‘K-STARTUP Pavilion’ at the CES Eureka Park Pavilion and directly confirmed the technological prowess of domestic startups.

A. Chairman Kwan-Seok Yoon: First of all, at CES 2023, which returned to its original state after three years as we entered the endemic era, I was able to feel with my whole body the advanced technology of countries around the world and the messages delivered by each company. Among them, I am very proud of the fact that domestic startups are showing excellence in both scale and quality.


Q. Editor-in-Chief Jihoon Choi: Many domestic companies are participating in CES 2023 and making a splash. As the person in charge of leading the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, what kind of support do you plan to provide to domestic startups?


A. Chairman Kwan-Seok Yoon: I understand that beyond simple participation, a large number of domestic startups were selected for the CES 2023 Innovation Award. The government is also watching their vision and potential with interest, and promises to improve the system, prepare new policies, and provide financial support at the industry and self-government level to accelerate the development of companies.

A. Chairman Kwan-Seok Yoon: I believe that domestic companies, regardless of whether they are large corporations or startups, are leading the industry by introducing innovative technologies in various fields on the global stage called CES. We plan to provide national support that transcends interests.
