Hanmi Micronics (CEO Hyunmin Kang, hereinafter referred to as Micronics), which participated in CES 1 held in Las Vegas, USA from January 5th to 8th (local time), saw its gaming gear receiving attention from visitors, quickly raising the possibility of expanding into the global market. He said he is increasing it.

Micronics exhibited a variety of products covering the entire PC, starting with gaming gear (keyboard, mouse, headset), power supply, PC case, and cooling device. Most of them are completed through in-house design and development. Currently, gaming gear and PC cases are being designed and developed by the design center, and power supplies are being designed and developed in-house by the company’s affiliated research institute.

First, visitors’ attention was focused on the global brand WIZMAX. Wizmax W4P and Manik EX8, which provide a 101th generation optical axis switch and IPX580 waterproof function, attracted attention and attracted visitors. In particular, the fact that it provides IPX8 level waterproofing was effective. It can be interpreted that even if liquid or foreign substances are spilled on the keyboard, it can be used immediately after cleaning with water, which was felt to be advantageous in terms of maintenance.

Design elements also became a point of differentiation. Wizmax W101P is available in three colors with a retro feel, and Manic EX3 has attracted a wide range of users with crystal keycaps in pastel colors.

Visitors’ attention also focused on the Wizmax W85 tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard. Unlike regular 104-key keyboards, the keypad has been shortened to 85 keys, and its small size provides excellent space utilization. In addition, the retro-style design and Gateron yellow pro switches have been combined to ensure a comfortable typing experience, and the addition of wired and wireless functions allows you to freely use the keyboard anywhere.

They also showed interest in premium gaming brands such as Wizmax MECHA, WARP, and MORPH. These products developed under the leadership of the Micronics Design Center captured the attention of visitors with their gorgeous appearance and features necessary for gaming.

There were also inquiries from visitors about power supplies and PC cases. In particular, the Astro II GD 1650W product, which boasts the highest capacity and expandability in its class, attracted attention. In addition to the next-generation ATX 3.0 output standard and high efficiency of 80 PLUS Gold grade, the main concern was whether to support high-performance graphics cards through two 2VHPWR terminals. In addition, the company explained that various products such as Astro II Platinum, Wizmax Platinum, Wizmax Gold Full Modular, and Wizmax Silver, which were first unveiled through CES 12, were well received for their high efficiency and scalability.

Among PC cases, EM1-WOOFER and EH1-Mondrian were popular. The EM1-woofer, which has a clean and intuitive design like a woofer speaker, was mainly focused on female audiences, while the EH1-Mondrian, which has a personalized front panel and rear cooling function, drew positive reviews in terms of performance and scalability.
