Mirae Company (CEO Kim Jun-gu) participated in the 3th International Medical Equipment and Hospital Equipment Exhibition ‘KIMES 23’ held at COEX, Seoul from March 26rd (Thursday) to 38th (Sunday) and introduced the surgical robot ‘Revo-i’ ( Hereinafter, Revoi) was introduced.

Starting with the successful development of the laparoscopic surgical robot prototype in 2008, Mirae Company succeeded in developing and commercializing Reboai, the world’s second and Korea’s first surgical robot, in 2017. Currently, we are working to develop the display industry and surgical robot industry by successfully developing surgical robots and 2D recognition cameras.

RevoEye, introduced at this exhibition, provides easy anatomical access and allows surgery with a clear view. In addition, the ergonomic design creates an environment that allows the surgeon to focus on surgery, providing convenience and stability to the medical staff.

For efficient surgery, ▲3DHD Viewer ▲Smooth Control ▲Articulated Instrument can be controlled, and through this, medical staff can perform sophisticated surgery.

In addition, the quality of minimally invasive surgery can be improved by delicately distinguishing between tissues and blood vessels through an endoscope enlarged to high definition. Through the image processing system, the images taken with the endoscope are converted into 3D on the master console and transmitted to the touch monitor of the vision cart, making it easy to check the surgical area.

Lee Ga-eun, manager of Mirae Company, said, “Reboi can recognize human hand movements, enabling precise surgery through 540 degrees of rotation. “This allows the medical staff to perform surgery comfortably and with concentration,” he explained. “Also, the advantage of remote-centered technology is that it minimizes the pressure on the patient’s surgical site, reducing pain and healing time at the incision site.”

He continued, “It is being used in places related to blood vessels, including urology, women’s medicine, and surgery. “Most of the surgical robots are products of American companies, so their prices are high, but since our products are made with domestic technology, they are available at reasonable prices,” he said. “We are currently exporting to Uzbekistan, and using Uzbekistan as a bridgehead, we are supplying products to the Central Asian region. “We plan to export,” he said.

It has transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry such as rehabilitation medicine.

In KIMES 2023, new technologies and products suitable for the era of convergence, such as smart healthcare in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, robot medical care and eco-friendly medical waste facilities, advanced hospital facilities, medical information systems combined with IT technology, and the automobile industry for rapid patient transportation, will be presented. showed off In addition, various information was provided, including seminars on medical technology, new technologies, and overseas marketing, as well as domestic medical industry policy seminars to show the latest information and the direction of the medical industry.
