AeroDJ Consulting Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dal-joo) announced that it will participate in the ‘2 Drone Show Korea 23’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 25 (Thu) to 2023 (Sat).
Established in 2017, AeroDJ Consulting is an aeronautical engineering company that investigates, measures, analyzes, and studies to create an airwaves environment for the safe operation of aircraft.
In this exhibition, UABIONIX’s Tail BeaconX ADS-B transponder will be exhibited. Aero DJ Consulting is the official domestic distributor of UABIONIX, and the products exhibited at the exhibition have received the US FAA TSO certification.
ADS-B is a system that uses GPS and 1090 MHz transmission link to minimize aircraft restrictions such as communication interruption due to unsecured line-of-sight and improve air control functions to prevent aircraft collisions. The person in charge explains that Tail Beacon X is a product that can replace existing taillights as it is equipped with the ADS-B function as standard and includes the taillight function of the aircraft. This product can be installed and used in various aircraft such as eVTOL and UAS, and the AV-20 and AV-30, which are digital information products of Tail Beacon X, can be installed on the aircraft as a display panel.

An AeroDJ Consulting official said, “In the future, various types of aircraft will be operated in line with the commercialization of K-UAM.” Currently, all aircraft are assigned a unique code and managed, and furthermore, UAM eVTOL and UAS aircraft must also have communication and management methods for safety.”
“One way is to use the ADS-B method already implemented by the US FAA,” he said. “The ADS-B system has various types of transmitters and receivers, antennas, and autonomous flight networking systems. At the same time, the preparation of legal and institutional devices is an essential part.”

An official said, “For the safe operation of the aircraft, the radio wave environment between the ground and the aircraft is the most closely related to the lives of passengers and is the most important part. Therefore, based on years of know-how and research results for a safe radio wave environment, accurate measurement, investigation, and analysis of airwaves, and consulting for alternatives are announced. “We decided to participate in the 2023 Drone Show Korea to introduce ADS-B-based avionics equipment for the control and control of drones.”
In addition, “In the case of the radio wave environment survey project, various government agencies have already recognized Aero DJ Consulting’s technological prowess and have many business results. In addition, as the host of the CNSi environment development and production project for the 1st phase of K-UAM GC, we have technological prowess by carrying out a research service project to create a roadmap for commercialization of various K-UAM.” We will do our best to create a safe radio environment based on our know-how in the radio wave environment investigation project.”
