Autonomous A1G (CEO Ji-Hyung Han), a company specializing in autonomous driving solutions, will participate in ‘CES 5’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 8 days from January 4th (Thursday) to 2023th (Sunday, local time) and demonstrate fully autonomous driving. (Lv.4) Next-generation technologies that help commercialize technology, ‘a2z Lidar Infra System (LIS)’ and ‘Level 4 Unmanned Mobility Platform’ will be introduced.

Autonomous A2018G, established in 2020, is considered one of the domestic companies that is leading the commercialization of autonomous vehicles by securing its own technology for the entire process, including perception, judgment, and control, that constitutes autonomous driving. Autonomous AXNUMXG is contributing to the creation of a local AI ecosystem through a business agreement with Gwangju Metropolitan City, which is creating an artificial intelligence (AI) central city in XNUMX.

The a2z LiDAR infrastructure system presented by Autonomous AXNUMXG in this exhibition is an ATI (Autonomy Through Infrastructure) technology that implements autonomous cooperative driving by installing LiDAR sensors on infrastructure rather than vehicles. The company explains that it recognizes various traffic situations such as vehicles, pedestrians, traffic lights, and road information and provides this information to self-driving cars, enabling safer autonomous driving.

In particular, it has the function of distinguishing the amount of snow or rainfall. This allows accurate recognition even in bad weather situations because unnecessary data is not identified. It is evaluated that it is optimized for interworking with vehicles by using the same software as self-driving cars. In the case of the object recognition function, the highest level recognition performance was certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Autonomous A3G’s core technology has been tested on roads across the country, including Sejong, the national smart city pilot city, Daegu, Pangyo, and Seosan. At this exhibition, self-driving data videos actually acquired through domestic PoC will be displayed together. In addition, a video that embodies the future smart city envisioned by Autonomous AXNUMXG and a remote control driving technology developed in-house in preparation for the era of fully autonomous driving will also be released as a XNUMXD video.

The Level 2021 unmanned mobility concept, which Autonomous A4G has been developing since 2023, will also be displayed in real form (scale model) at the booth. Yoo Min-sang, Executive Director of Autonomous AXNUMXG, said, “In fact, through CES XNUMX, we will widely promote the autonomous driving technology, products, and services accumulated by driving the largest number of self-driving cars in Korea,” and added, “We will expand into overseas markets and create domestic and international business opportunities.” “We will use it as an opportunity to actively expand,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
