‘CES 2023’, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition, which will open in Las Vegas, USA on January 5 (local time), has entered the countdown. The exhibition will return to normal three years after the pandemic, and the number of visitors this year is expected to increase by more than 70% compared to last year.

Among them, CES focuses on how to overcome global crises through cutting-edge technology and how to respond to new industry and market trends.

In this regard, the organizer, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is supporting the global campaign ‘HS4A (Human Security for All)’ in cooperation with the United Nations’ Human Security Multi-Trust Fund, and the main keyword for CES 2023 is ▲mobility. A total of five keywords were pointed out: ▲Health Tech ▲Metaverse/Web 3.0 ▲Sustainability ▲Human Security.

At this CES, a large number of global conglomerates and big tech companies representing these keywords, such as Google, Intel, Samsung, AMD, Canon, and TCL, will be present. These companies are expected to unveil each new product and new technology, as well as provide visitors with a variety of keynotes and keynote speeches to experience new technologies in advance, and propose a blueprint for global technological development.

For example, at AMD, which is on par with Intel in the global PC central processing unit (CPU) market, Chairman and CEO Lisa Su will personally deliver a keynote speech. At this event, CEO Su plans to share his vision of how high-performance and adaptive computing can change human life, and will be held at the Palazzo Ballroom in Venice at 6:30 on Wednesday, January 4, prior to the official opening of CES 2023. It takes place in Las Vegas.

The next day, January 5, at 11 a.m. at the Aria Hotel, Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines, will give a ‘C Space Keynote’ on the theme of ‘Connectivity and Community Building in a Non-Stop World’, and at 2 p.m. the same day at the Palazzo Ballroom in Venice. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares will also deliver a speech.

In addition, programs on the topics of △health, wellness and sports △sustainability △technology policy △Web3 and Metaverse, and lectures on diversity and inclusion (D&I) are also scheduled to be held during the exhibition period.

“We are thrilled to be able to highlight thousands of innovative companies at this year’s CES,” said Gary Shapiro, CTA President and CEO. “Advancements in technology are helping solve the world’s biggest challenges, and CES 2023 will be a great opportunity for the next year to come. “It will be a place to set the agenda,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
