Saltlux announced on the 27th that it will participate in ‘CES 2023’, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition, opening in Las Vegas, USA on January 5 (local time) to inform domestic and foreign visitors of its product competitiveness and strengthen its global network.

Saltlux, participating in CES for the third time following 2020 and 2022, plans to present ultra-realistic virtual reality implementation technology under the slogan ‘CLONE YOURSELF USING AI’ and present a new blueprint for the Web 3 era.

As part of this, Saltlux will set up a filming studio for creating virtual humans at this exhibition and operate an experience zone for visitors. Through this, we plan to provide visitors who have always wanted to recreate themselves as a virtual human with the opportunity to create a ‘virtual human that resembles me’ and allow them to check the created results on site.

This is done based on the results of filming to secure video data of visitors, and due to the nature of the site where simultaneous recording is difficult, data held by Saltlux is used for voice data to be applied to the virtual human. The created virtual human will then be sent to your personal email within about 5 minutes, and filming and creating the virtual human will take about 10 minutes.

Saltlux’s Plunit Studio, which provides virtual human creation services, is a virtual human video creation platform that operates based on AI. Saltlux explains that various decoration sources and editing effects can be added to virtual humans created by combining various costumes and postures, and through this, photo and video content can be created in just a few minutes.

In addition, it provides automatic translation and dubbing functions for 36 languages, and the introduction of an NFT system for content trading and the launch of overseas services are planned in the first half of next year. Accordingly, it is expected to attract attention from creators such as virtual YouTubers aiming to enter the global market, and Saltlux will also provide subscription consultations to secure global users at this exhibition.

Furthermore, Saltlux will also introduce its own self-produced virtual human, which was selected for the Innovation Awards at CES 2023. Following ‘Erin’ unveiled last year, the virtual human ‘Jia Han’ will be active as a receptionist at this year’s booth. Ji-ah Han performs booth guidance and schedule reservations for the virtual human production experience zone at the exhibition site.

Jia Han is equipped with a touch reaction function that reacts when the body is touched and an advanced conversation model that allows the conversation to continue freely even with content outside of the scenario. At the same time, the results of the project ‘Creating photo-realistic digital humans and developing 30fps realistic rendering technology’, which is conducting joint research and product development with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT, were also applied. This makes it possible to present a more realistic appearance and movement.

A Saltlux official said, “This CES will be an important event to introduce Saltlux’s innovative artificial intelligence services to global customers.” He added, “In addition to Plunit Studio, we will provide services encompassing B2B and B2C through services such as ‘Work Center’ and ‘Guber’. “We will quickly grow into a global AI unicorn company,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
