LuluLab announced on the 1th that it will participate in ‘CES 5’, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition, opening in Las Vegas, USA on January 2023 (local time).
LuluLab, an artificial intelligence (AI) beauty and healthcare company, will exhibit and unveil various AI skin analysis solutions such as Lumini Kiosk and Smart Mirror, starting with ‘Premium Lumini SDK’ at this CES. Through this, we plan to operate an experience zone where you can easily analyze your skin condition and experience customized solutions, while also discussing collaboration with global companies and investors.
‘Lumini SDK’ is the first mobile version model that integrates luluLab’s AI technology and was released in the second half of this year. It was unveiled at KES 10 (2022rd Korea Electronics Show) held at COEX in Seoul last October, and received love calls from domestic and foreign beauty and retail companies for its technology and optimized solutions that realize high reproducibility and accuracy. Accordingly, it was reported that major contracts were concluded.
The premium Lumini SDK, which LuluLab will introduce at CES 2023, is differentiated from existing solutions through digitalization. As the only platform in the industry that combines online and offline, it is expected that linked services with existing offline products commercialized by Lulu Lab will be possible, and consumers will be able to more conveniently check and manage their skin analysis data.
As the number of customer measurement data increases significantly, companies are expected to be able to establish more detailed and strategic marketing strategies. LuluLab explained that this is a factor that leads to expectations of improved purchase conversion rates and increased sales in the future.
Additionally, technology was applied to overcome the limitations of mobile measurement. In a mobile environment, it is much more difficult to secure reproducibility due to hand tremors and different camera functions, specifications, and lighting for each model, but Lulu Lab explains that this can be overcome through the independently developed deep learning algorithm.
This deep learning algorithm technology was awarded to only two papers at the international symposium held by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the world’s most authoritative academic society encompassing the fields of electricity, electronics, computers, and communications, in July this year. It was selected as ‘Best Paper’.
LuluLab predicts that Premium Lumini SDK, which has been reborn as a hyper digitalization platform, will quickly dominate the market based on its own technology.
Sangwook Yoo, CTO of LuluLab, said, “Our technology applied to Lumini SDK is attracting attention in the global market, including winning an innovation award at CES 2022.” He added, “Based on differentiated AI technology created through continuous research and development, “We will expand our grip on the skin analysis market,” he said.
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
