[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Agen Global (CEO Kang Jeong-seok) held ‘CES 2023’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 4 days from January 5 (Thursday) to January 8 (Sunday, local time), 2023. Participated in the K-STARTUP integration hall at Eureka Park, a startup zone.

Agen Global is contributing to the global transition to a low-carbon future and greener financing through the ‘CreditConnect’ (hereinafter referred to as CreditConnect) AI Banking-as-a-Service platform. We are creating new financial opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV) industry by predicting the residual value of electric batteries, which was previously ‘impossible to measure’, and transparently measuring related financial risks. With the goal of achieving green finance, we cooperate with domestic and foreign banks to provide reliable and sustainable financial services.

We decided to participate in this CES to share challenges and opportunities facing the United States in the transition to EVs and to discover potential partners who can create a global EV ecosystem.

CreditConnect, which will be introduced at the exhibition, accurately and transparently predicts the residual value of batteries, which account for 40-50% of the cost in the BEV industry, based on AI, and based on this, it provides various services from BEV loan product design to portfolio management and battery risk management (i.e. We provide key lending functions, including SoH (SoH) and RV risk monitoring, as a service. Through this service, we present a standardized risk management framework for BEVs and are expected to contribute to global zero-emission policies and green finance in the future.

An official from Eisen Global said, “Despite increasing interest in green finance and sustainable finance, the banking sector is taking a conservative stance toward BEV finance for various reasons. “The reasons cited are the difficulty in measuring and predicting the residual value of BEVs, the absence of standardized product development and risk management policies for new EV financing, high initial costs and limited internal technical capabilities, and outdated legacy systems,” he said.

He continued, “Based on our AI technology, we can solve these problems by providing core loan functions as a service, from loan product design to portfolio management, battery risk management, and risk monitoring.”

CreditConnect BEV was first launched in Korea in 2022, and together with a domestic battery platform company, it developed a ‘ML-based battery residual value prediction system using real-time battery data’ and raised funds to purchase more than 150 electric buses. We are currently carrying out a project with overseas e-mobility and battery exchange platform companies with the goal of supplying 50,000 electric bicycles to Indonesia by 2023, and are expanding our services beyond the domestic market to the global market. As part of this, Agen Global said it is planning to launch the ‘CreditConnect EV USA’ service targeting bus and last mile mobility operators.
