[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Airdeep Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Yu-shin) will participate in ‘CES 2023’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 1 days from January 5 (Thursday) to January 8 (Sunday, local time), 4. Participated in the K-STARTUP integration hall at Eureka Park, a startup zone.

Airdeep is a company that realizes healthy air quality and efficient energy management through its ‘artificial intelligence air quality management service’.

AirDeep, an IoT-based AI air quality sensor, analyzes indoor air quality in real time and detects air pollution conditions such as dust, fine dust, smoking, and abnormal air conditions. Additionally, AirDeep’s AI algorithm distinguishes between smoking types (cigarettes or electronic cigarettes) and recognizes abnormal air conditions such as vehicle and cabin fire accidents.

One of its strengths is that it analyzes air quality by applying machine learning and deep learning algorithms instead of expensive, high-spec hardware. AI algorithms can improve the accuracy of air quality detection and detection, and AI is relatively easy to reconfigure its functions and logic and is cheaper than physical sensors.

In addition, AirDeep is a software-based technology that more accurately distinguishes various air quality situations, and the detected information is displayed through the sensor’s 5×2.8-inch display screen. Information is displayed in blue, green, and red depending on whether the air quality is good, normal, or bad, and AI provides optimized air quality improvement guidance based on the results of air quality pattern analysis. A company official explained, “For example, if air pollution is caused by cooking, we will recommend turning on the range hood, and if smoking is detected, we will recommend not to smoke there.”

He continued, “We have been researching fine dust management and AI-based air quality analysis through various projects. “In this process, we developed the field of air quality as a formal business item by focusing on the fact that it is a field that is easy for anyone to understand, is necessary, and can be used as a technology around the world without language restrictions.”

In the domestic market, we have supplied products to SOCAR and PEOPLECAR, which are Meiji car sharing services, and are currently developing a product that provides indoor air quality information through a smart TV screen in partnership with KT.

The current version of the AirDeep-Home product is implemented with the functions of diagnosing and displaying air quality information and sending guide messages for optimal air quality management based on the diagnosed air quality information (via the LCD in the product or app). In the next version, we aim to automatically control air quality management products through IR remote control communication technology and implement edge computing functions.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.

The K-STARTUP Integrated Pavilion is jointly participated by the Korea Start-up Agency, Seoul Business Agency, and Seoul Digital Foundation, and 51 domestic innovative companies participated to enter the U.S. market and discover global partners. In addition, CES 2023 college student supporters selected from each university (Kyunghee University, Kookmin University, Sogang University, and Chung-Ang University) were matched considering majors and industrial fields of participating companies.
