Yukon System Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Woo-jong) participated in the ‘2 Drone Show Korea 23’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 25 (Thu) to 2023 (Sat).
Since its foundation in 2001, Yukon Systems has been a leading company in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles in Korea. In 2004, it first exported unmanned aerial vehicle ground control equipment to the UAE Air Force, and since 2015, it has mass-produced and delivered army battalion-level reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, and supplied the second domestic military unmanned aerial vehicle system used by the Korean military. In addition, since 2014, it has been put into the development of the Korean launch vehicle ground control system, and has been steadily carrying out ground control/control-related projects until now.

In connection with this, LX Korea National Geospatial Information Corporation, Changwon NC Park, and Chungnam Provincial Office, etc. are carrying out drone integrated system construction projects and are accelerating the establishment of digital spatial information infrastructure. In addition to the drone integrated system, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and the Nuri-ho ground control system were developed and successfully launched the Nuri-ho. In overseas markets, together with Busan City, exports of unmanned surveying probes that can survey rivers and reservoirs and survey water quality are being promoted.
In this exhibition, Remo-M was mainly introduced. RemoM is a fixed-wing UAV for obtaining spatial information of Yukon System, and is an improved product of RemoEye-002B, an existing battalion-level unmanned reconnaissance aircraft. RemoM has cutting-edge technologies such as 3D filming, long-distance transmission of real-time filmed images, and 3D mapping technology. In addition, Yukon System has the characteristics and advantages of REMOM, such as long flight time compared to domestic and foreign companies of the same class, ease of take-off (hand-launching take-off) and landing (air bag landing), and only replacing mission equipment according to the field performed in one aircraft. Ease of use was cited.
RemoM won the grand prize at the 2017 Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport River Contest and won the Africa Drone Forum Contest, building external recognition. In addition, the performance of the product was recognized through the precision agriculture project in Tunisia and the land registration efficiency project in Tanzania.

Along with this, Yukon System contributes to national security and secures a foundation for growth to lead the anti-drone market. In this Drone Show Korea, when a drone is detected on the radar, it directly targets and collides with it to explode it, and drones through radio jamming. An anti-drone system was exhibited by exhibiting a jamming drone that makes flight impossible. This is due to the rapid attention of the anti-drone market to prevent illegal drones in line with the recent increase in the need to strengthen the stability of major national facilities.
An official from Yukon System said, “We will participate in Drone Show Korea, which presents the current status and future vision of the drone field, which is the core of the 4th industrial revolution, and will respond quickly to changes in the drone industry ecosystem by identifying the trends and demands of other companies and organizations.” “In addition, we would like to use this as an opportunity to promote our new products and new technologies and to hear improvements regarding the needs of customers for existing products. Through this exhibition, we plan to actively seek ways to utilize drones in various fields in cooperation with related organizations, and use this as an opportunity to further improve our development technology.”
He also revealed his future aspirations. An official said, “Yukon System is striving to build and distribute drones and drone integrated control systems that can be used for defense in each field of military and civil supply. VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) drones and unmanned manned and unmanned aircraft are developed and commercialized to secure core technologies to prepare for the era of CUAS (cargo transport aircraft) and PAV (personal aircraft). We will develop technologies such as collision avoidance systems and ground control systems to become an innovative company that can contribute to the era of the 4th industrial revolution.”

Meanwhile, the exhibition items of the 2023 Drone Show Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of National Defense, and Busan Metropolitan City, and organized by BEXCO and the Korea Unmanned Aerial System Association are as follows. △Manufacturing (drone, military, UAM/AAM, surveying, mapping, firefighting, station, unmanned robot, leisure, broadcasting) △Utilizing industry (photography, control, spatial information, logistics, disaster management, security, reconnaissance, construction, deep sea exploration) Etc.) △Parts and technology (communication, ground control, autonomous flight, system and S/W technology, fuel cell sensor, motor, battery, etc.) △Service (education, finance, rental, insurance, investment consulting, etc.) △ Institutions (related institutions, associations/organizations, universities)
