Mango Slab is a company spun off from Samsung Electronics as an in-house venture in 2016 and is developing various ICT products based on micro-heating technology. Since winning the Best Innovation Award at CES 2017 for ‘Nemonic’, a heat control technology-based sticky note printer, we have been accumulating know-how in micro-heating technology.
At this CES 2023, we will introduce the ‘ST Hair Straightener’, a wireless hair straightener that received the CES 2023 Innovation Award for its technology that minimizes hair damage based on precise heat control technology. Estee Hair Straightener attracted attention by becoming the first hair straightener product to win the CES Innovation Award.
Mango Slab’s ST is a self-developed dual heater that generates heat at high speed and maintains a precise constant temperature. A sophisticated heat control algorithm of more than 150 times per second allows users to style their hair without excessive heat and minimizes hair damage. The hidden hinge design, where the hinge is not exposed to the outside, prevents hair damage caused by hair getting caught in the product during styling.
In addition, it is equipped with a 4-cell lithium-ion battery, so it can be used anywhere up to 210 degrees Celsius, and supports 60-minute fast charging and wired/wireless hybrid mode, allowing for an optimal hair styling experience in a wider variety of environments.
