Japanese glass manufacturer Asahi Glass (AGC) will participate in CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, for a total of four days from January 1 (Thursday) to January 5 (Sunday, local time), 8, and introduce its new product, anti-glare glass for 4K displays. It was announced on the 2023th that it would introduce glare glass.

AGC said, “Compared to competitors’ products, our anti-glare glass for K displays suppresses the glare caused by light reflecting on the screen by about 30%, reducing eye fatigue for users when applied to PCs or tablets.”

This new product was developed with the goal of satisfying all of the optical characteristics of the display: anti-reflection (suppression of light reflection), sharpness, and anti-glare properties (suppression of irregular imbalance of the screen), and is scheduled to be sold in the first half of 2023. The official explained that in order to solve the problem that the light interference phenomenon in the LCD panel becomes worse as the screen quality increases, glass with regular imbalance was manufactured using a special method.

AGC plans to exhibit new products and new technologies for next-generation mobility, along with the newly developed anti-glare glass for 4K displays at this CES.
