[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] KDNA CO., LTD (CEO Kim Dong-hwan) will hold a 2023-day event in Las Vegas, USA from January 1 (Thursday) to January 5 (Sunday, local time), 8. I participated in the Eureka Park K-STARTUP Integrated Hall, the startup zone of ‘CES 4’.

KDNA is realizing human care by converging and developing expertise in various fields. We are conducting research and development on devices related to medical and beauty care through new material convergence technology and hardware production know-how, and aim to provide ‘humanware’ services that are thoroughly focused on consumer needs through new material and IoT convergence.

This exhibition mainly introduces soft IR LED patches using ‘Stretchable Technology’. Regarding the advantages of the patch, KDNA pointed out that it is a skin-adhesive type, has low power and high efficiency, and has a high skin penetration rate of light, and that it is a cosmetic band fusion type and has a 3 times faster skin improvement effect. In addition, the application of medical hydrocolloid makes it safe even when worn for long periods of time, and it is also unique in that normal activities are possible even when attached to curved parts of the body. When reusing, only the cosmetic band can be exchanged and the module can be reused.

A KDNA official said, “The existing solid LED mask was not efficient due to diffuse reflection on the skin due to the distance between the light source and the skin. On the other hand, the near-infrared LED patch is efficient even at low power by reducing the factors that reduce light penetration due to diffuse reflection on the skin,” he said. “In addition, in the case of existing LED patches, there is no choice but to mount the LED on the FPCB (soldering), and the FPCB (PI) Due to its stiff nature, it is difficult to attach it closely to the curved surface of the facial contour, but KDNA solved this problem by developing the original technology of mounting (soldering) LEDs on a thin and soft stretchable PCB and implemented it as a new concept product.” He explained.

He continued, “Currently, Stretchable Technology is being developed competitively in industry and academia around the world, but it is still in the early stages. KDNA is proud to be leading the commercialization of products using stretchable technology with its own technology and processes, from materials to modules,” he said. “Accordingly, through participation in this CES, we hope to promote our company and technology, discover B2B partners, and attract overseas investment.” .” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.

The K-STARTUP Integrated Pavilion is jointly participated by the Korea Start-up Agency, Seoul Business Agency, and Seoul Digital Foundation, and 51 domestic innovative companies participated to enter the U.S. market and discover global partners. In addition, CES 2023 college student supporters selected from each university (Kyunghee University, Kookmin University, Sogang University, and Chung-Ang University) were matched considering majors and industrial fields of participating companies.
