Edint (CEO Dong-il Won), which operates the online test artificial intelligence (AI) automatic management and supervision service ‘Proctomatic’, won the Innovation Award at ‘CES 2023’, the world’s largest home appliance and IT exhibition, and won the ‘2023 Edison Award’ in the education service category. It was announced on the 29th that he had been nominated.

Proctomatic, created by experts from Samsung Electronics, is a service that conveniently conducts online tests based on AI technology and checks summary reports of verification results. An AI proctor automatically records cheating and runs the test, so there is no need for a separate proctor.

The Edison Award, called the ‘Oscars of Innovation’, has been inspired by the originality of inventor Thomas Edison and has been selecting the most innovative and creative products in each field every year since 1987. The late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and Tesla CEO Elon Musk also received this award.

Dong-il Won, CEO of Edint, said, “We are delighted to be recognized for our competitiveness and technology on the international stage through winning the CES Innovation Award and the Edison Award. “With Proctomatic, anyone can easily and conveniently open and operate an online exam,” he said.

Meanwhile, Edint is a company established in May 16 through Samsung Electronics’ in-house venture program C-Lab, which runs for 2022 months. It is comprised of experts who have worked at Samsung Electronics for over 5 years. CEO Won Dong-il was in charge of service planning and operation, acquisitions, investments, and business partnerships. In the future, we plan to launch services in various fields as well as the edtech field based on AI-based automatic detection engine.
