In order to reduce the burden of labor and time spent on workers when removing residual foreign substances adsorbed on screws and molds, and to solve problems that may cause damage to screws and molds, we have entered into a technical partnership with MAXI-BLAST of the United States to provide screw and mold cleaning equipment. has been introduced to the plastics industry.
The cleaning equipment introduced at this exhibition is a direct pressure sandblasting method specialized for cleaning screws and molds, and uses plastic media (abrasives) optimized for cleaning screws and molds.
An MCM official said, “This equipment, which simplifies screw and mold maintenance, can reduce the user’s work time and cost, and unlike the existing method of using torch combustion and grinding wheels, maintenance work is performed in a better working environment. There is an advantage in being able to proceed. “For the visibility of the worker, a dust collector is also installed to filter out dust inside the equipment,” he said. “Also, the ergonomic design reduces worker fatigue and improves work efficiency by applying a sliding type that allows easy movement to the area where cleaning needs to be concentrated.” “He explained.
He continued, “We have a product line of abrasives required for various blasting operations. “It has the characteristic of being able to remove foreign substances without causing any damage to the surface of the equipment being used,” he said. “We are pursuing field improvements through automation of screw and mold cleaning.” “We will continue to strive to introduce more efficient screw and mold cleaning methods to the plastics industry,” he said.
