Ilkwang Polymer’s polyketone is a next-generation new material developed and commercialized by Hyosung Co., Ltd. It is an engineering plastic manufactured by combining carbon monoxide and olefin. It has excellent mechanical properties, gas barrier properties, hydrolysis resistance, etc., as well as eco-friendliness, and through this, ILKWANG POLYMER produces composite materials with high functionality such as high stiffness and flame retardancy, the official explained.
Permanent antistatic agent ‘IonPhasE’ is a material that gives plastic products a static control function. It maintains an immediate and permanent static electricity control function and boasts stable performance even when humidity changes. Furthermore, it can be mixed with various resins due to its high compatibility, and provides high performance with little change in physical properties.
The EV battery thermal runaway prevention solution introduced together boasts high flame retardancy and insulation properties of thermosetting bakelite PF1110/UP3415 grade. At the same time, it is characterized by halogen-free flame retardancy, styrene-free, and high dimensional stability, so it can be flexibly applied to environments where ultra-high temperatures occur, such as batteries, electric/electronic, and automobile parts.
